LHS Boys 4 X 400 Relay breaks school record!

The 4 X 400 team of senior Matt Sheldon, freshman Ryan Fujita, and seniors Alex Bittner and Walter Stern ran an exciting and fast 4 X 400 race at the 2011 6A State Track and Field Championship to place 3rd overall in the state!  Battling the state's top teams, the Cardinals were not expected to be in contention for the top three spots, but with record breaking runs by all four Lincoln runners, the team broke the 2008 school record of 3:22.97, by running a quick 3:22.16.  Senior Haley Stewart made the Cardinals proud with her 4th and 7th place in the state in the 100 and 200 meters!! The girls 4 X 400 ran an impressive 5th place with the team of freshman Becca Pearson, Sophomore Olivia Lanaras, and seniors Alex McCready and Haley Stewart.
