12/16/2011 Another overtime game, another Lightning victory.  nathan Otto finished with a game high 22 points and Jared Dudley chipped in with 13 including 7 in overtime as the Lightning hung on to beat the improved Neenah Rockets 61 to 59 in overtime.  Mike Lukashewich added 10 points and Ryan Albers 9.  the Lightning has improved to 4-2 in the FVA and is one game out of 1st place.  North now has two weeks off and will start the new year hosting first place Kaukauna (5-1) on January 3rd.  game time 7:15. 

 12/13/2011 @ North.  The Appleton North Lightning won a thriller on Tuesday night defeating the Oshkosh West Wildcats 84-74 in double overtime.  North was paced by Nathan otto's 25 points and 6 assists and Trace Sonnleitner's 23.  Miek Lukashewich chipped in 14 points, 8 coming in the overtime frames.  Brandon Marquardt paced the Wildcats with a game high 41.  Next up for the Lightning are the Neenah Rockets this Friday @ Ron Einerson Fieldhouse.   

11/29/20111-Congrats to all Appleton North Lightning Basketball Players on their sweep of Oshkosh North @ Oshkosh North.  The Lightning varsity beat the 7th ranked Spartans 40-39 in dramatic fashion.  Mike Lukashewich drove the lane and finished near the rim with 1.2 seconds on the clock to give A-North the victory.  the Lightning are now 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the FVA.  North was paced by Nathan Otto's 14 points including two key three pointers down the stretch.  North also got outstanding defensive efforts from Pokey Greisch, Jake Werner and Frank VanHandel.  Next up for the Lightning are the Kimberly Papermakers Friday Night at Appleton North.   

11/26/2011-Appleton North was upended by a quality FVL team on Saturday night at Fox Valley Lutheran 66-62.  North led 37 to 27 at half but could not hold onto the lead and a tough 3rd quarter turned the tide in the Foxes favor.  North was paced by Mike Lukashewich's 19 points.  Ryan Albers chipped in with 11.  Jake Werner had a very strong all around game both on the boards and on the defensive end.
