Moeller Cross Country Update

September 12, 2011
Cincinnati Moeller High School

From Head Coach David Prenger:

In what might be the largest meet of its kind in Ohio in terms of size and caliber of competition featuring most of the top teams in the state and beyond, the Moeller Cross Country Team finished 29th place (out of 40 teams) in the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival in Tiffin, Ohio on September 10th, 2011.

Zach Hoffman was the top Moeller finisher in 56th place in 16:55 (out of 275 runners).   The remainder of the varsity field included Andrew Mendel, Brendan Mulvaney, Mitch Gentile, Nicholas Mendel, Jimmy Clark, and Grant Lytle.

The JV/Open race was cancelled due to lightning and thunderstorms that moved into the area following the conclusion of the varsity race.

Complete results for this meet can be found here

The team will travel to Clayton, Ohio for their next meet on September 17th, 2011 for the Alliance Invitational.
