Moeller Runners at Treaty City Invitational

Treaty City Invitational Results

The Cross Country Team finished the second week of the season with a 3rd place finish (out of 13 teams) at the Treaty City Invitational in Greenville, Ohio on August 31st, 2013.

Moeller’s top scorer was junior Drew Denoyer with an 8th place finish in 17:12 (out of 109 runners).   Also running varsity was Mitch Poch, Brendan Mulvaney, Matt DeWine, Ross Griffith, Steven Johnston, Jacob Menke, Jacob Weisgerber, Doug Girard, and Isaac Lytle.

The JV squad had a dominating performance with their 1st place finish (out of 21 teams) putting up a 29 point difference to the runner-up team.  Leading for the JV squad was junior Eddy Pappalardo with a 5th place finish in 18:40 (out of 303 runners).   Scoring as well for the JV were Nicholas Mendel, Connor Peed, Nic Junker, and Ethan ten Brink.

Up next, the Varsity and JV-A squads will travel to Tiffin, Ohio on September, 7th, 2013 to compete in the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival, while the JV-B squad will compete in the Winton Woods Invitational at Winton Woods Middle School here in Cincinnati on the same date.
