JOHN BARNACLO has committed to Notre Dame College where he will play rugby for Coach Brian McCue.  Barnaclo plays flanker for the Crusaders Rugby Club and will continue at that position at Notre Dame College.  John is a four-year member of the wrestling program for Moeller, a member of the LIFE group, worked with MACH 1, and volunteers with the Cincinnati Housing Projects.  He carries a 3.0 GPA.  John is the son of Dave Barnaclo and Laura Ryan of Hyde Park.

 

GRADY BEERCK has committed to Lawrence Technological University where he will play soccer for Coach Will Dyer.  He will continue his position of goal keeper.  He is a four-year member of the Crusaders soccer team, playing three years as a varsity starter.  Beerck also plays spring soccer for Ohio Elite and received the Ohio Elite Goal Keeper award from Coach Mike Cullina.  Grady has maintained honor roll status all four years at Moeller and carries a 3.6 GPA. He has participated in Matthew 25 Ministries, Relay for Life, and Moeller’s Canned Food Drive.  Grady is the son of Bob Beerck and Sam Kemp of Sharonville.

 

ANDREW BUSCHBACHER will continue his wrestling career under the direction of Coach Matt Lowers at the University of the Cumberlands.  Buschbacher is a four-year member of the Moeller Wrestling program, competing in the 125 lb. weight class.  Buschbacher currently participates in Little Buddies with Corryville Catholic and recorded 100 hours of community service to earn an Outstanding Service Award his senior year.  He carries a 3.5 GPA and had maintained honor roll status.  Andrew is the son of Ed and Kathy Buschbacher of Amberley Village.

 

L J DRISCOLL will continue his rugby career as a lock at Davenport University, under the direction of Coach Kruger Van Bijan.  Driscoll is a four-year member of the Moeller Rugby Club, playing four years at the A-Side level.  He was a member of the 2011 and 2012 State Runners-Up Rugby teams.  LJ also played football for three years at Moeller High School.  He carries a 2.7 GPA.  LJ is the son of Larry and Lisa Driscoll of West Chester.

 

ANDREW KRAUS, a four- year starter for the Crusaders Track program as a sprinter, hurdler, and long-jumper, will continue to compete under the direction of Coach Kris Mack at the University of Cincinnati.  Andrew was also a four-year member of the Moeller Football program and the 2012 OHSAA Ohio State Championship Football Team.  Kraus has received First-Team All GCL honors and currently participates in French Club and Grief Group.  Andrew maintains a 3.3 GPA and is the son of Bob and Gina Breen of Fairfield.

 

ZACH PRIEST, a three-year member of the Moeller Varsity Volleyball team will continue his volleyball career at Carthage College. Zach will play under the direction of Coach LJ Marx at the position of setter or right side.  Zach was a member of the 2012 Ohio State Championship Volleyball team and the 2011 and 2010 Ohio State Runner-Up Volleyball teams.  Priest was named Second-Team All-GCL in 2012 and Second Team Honorable Mention All-South Region. He is a member of the French Club and U4U at Moeller.  Priest has maintained honors and carries a 3.7 GPA.  Zach is the son of Mark and Kathy Priest of Loveland.

 

EVAN PROBST, a four-year member of the Crusaders Golf program, will continue playing at Transylvania University under the direction of Coach Brian Lane.  Probst placed fourth at districts in 2011, had a state appearance in the 2012 state tournament, and Junior Met Flight Champion, second overall.  Evan is a member of the Academic Team, carries a 3.9 GPA, and has maintained first honors every quarter.  Evan is the son of Chris and Christine Probst of Mason.

 

DOMINIC STARVAGGI will continue his lacrosse career at John Carroll University.  Starvaggi plays midfield for the Crusaders and will continue at that position under the direction of Head Coach Brian Small.  Dominic was a member of the 2012 OHSAA Ohio State Championship Football Team and a four- year member of both the football and lacrosse programs.  Starvaggi is currently a co-captain of the Moeller Lacrosse team and a Moeller High School Vice-Captain.  He participated in the Canned Food Drive and Christmas on Campus.   Dominic has maintained honor roll status for four years and carries a 3.6 GPA.  He is the son of Patrick and Mary Starvaggi of Loveland.

 

MATTHEW WETHERILL has committed to continue his golf career at the next level for Coach Daryl Landrum at Northern Kentucky University.  Wetherill received 12th place in the 2012 OHSAA State Golf tournament, was the Junior Met Champion and received the Coaches Award for 2012.  He has maintained second honors and carries a 3.5 GPA.  Matthew is the son of Rex and Anne Wetherill of Kenwood.

 

WYATT WILSON will continue his wrestling career at Indiana University under the direction of Coach Duane Goldman.  Wilson was a 2012 state qualifier and was awarded First-Team All GCL and Academic All-American.  Wilson will continue to wrestle in the 165 lb. or 174 lb. weight class.  He carries a 3.6 GPA and maintains honor roll status.  Wyatt is the son of Webster and Angela Wilson of Amberley Village.
