The Winter Track season concluded today (3/16/2013) with the OATCCC State Indoor Track and Field Meet held at the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.
Zach Hoffman (Class of 2013), Moeller’s only participant/qualifier in the meet, had an outstanding day finishing in 4th place in the 1600 Meter Run in the Division One race. Zach had a convincing win over his archrival from St. Xavier and just narrowly missed third place by just over three tenths of a second. Zach’s time of 4:18.33 now puts him just 1.30 seconds away from breaking the school record in the 1600 Meter Run currently held by Moeller Hall of Famer Luke Beuerlein set back in 2004.
The Spring Outdoor Track season begins with the Skyline Chili Relays at Elder’s PAC on April 4th.
