Moeller Lacrosse with 5 College Signings

5 Members of the Moeller Crusader Lacrosse team signed their National Letter of Intent on Wednesday in the Moeller Media Center. With high expectations for the upcoming season, Coach Reed discussed about each player during the ceremony. The 5 players and their bio are as follows:
ALEX BURGDORF has committed to play lacrosse for Coach Eric Fekete at Quinnipiac University. Burgdorf is a four-year member of the Moeller Lacrosse Program and a three-year member of the Moeller Ice Hockey Program. Alex has received many lacrosse honors as a junior: First Team All-State, First Team All-Region, First Team Midwest, 2011 Goalie of the Year, and Under Armour All-American. Burgdorf carries a 3.93 GPA and has maintained honor roll every quarter. He has completed more than 80 hours of community service and volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House, Green Giants, and Little Buddies. Alex is the son of Doug and Debbie Burgdorf of Sharonville.
QUINN COLLISON will continue his lacrosse career at Bucknell University under the direction of Coach Frank Fedorjaka. Collison plays attack for the Crusaders and will continue at that position for Bucknell University. Quinn was named First Team All-Region in 2012 as a junior, and Under Armour All-American. He carries a 4.0 GPA, has maintained first honors every quarter, and is a member of the National Honor Society. Collison has completed more than 200 community service hours with Pastoral Ministry at Moeller High School. Quinn is the son of Blane and Kelly Collison of Sycamore Township.
NOLAN FREY has played mid-field for the Crusader Lacrosse Team for three years and will continue at that position for Coach Mike Caravana at Denison University. As a junior, Frey received Second Team All-Region honors and Honorable Mention All-MSLCA. Nolan is a four-year member of the Moeller Football Program, and a current member of Little Buddies, and Green Giants. He carries a 3.8 GPA and has maintained second honors throughout his Moeller academic career. Nolan is the son of Mike and Lori Frey of Terrace Park.
KRIEG GRECO has committed to play lacrosse for Coach Andy Towers at Dartmouth College. Greco plays face-off midfield for the Crusaders and will continue at those positions for Coach Towers. Greco tallied 74% face-off wins and 115 ground balls for the 2012 Moeller season to earn First Team All-Region, Second Team All-Ohio, and Second Team All-Midwest honors. He was a member of the 2012 Under Armour Underclass Lacrosse Team and the ECLC All-Star game. Krieg carries a 4.0 and has maintained first honors every quarter. He is also a volunteer for Unified for Unifat. Krieg is the son of Ken and Laurie Greco.
CONNOR NELSON will continue his lacrosse career at Carthage College under the direction of Coach David Neff. Nelson plays defense and long stick middie for Moeller and will continue that position at Cartage College. Nelson will be part of the Moeller lacrosse program for four-years, and is currently a third year member of the Crusader football program. At Moeller, Connor is a house captain volunteers for Unified for Unifat and pastoral ministry. Connor carries a 3.5 and has maintained honors every quarter. Connor is the son of Bruce and Pam Nelson of Montgomery.
