October 30, 2012
Cincinnati Moeller High School

From Nate Read, Head Lacrosse Coach

Lacrosse Community Service Project: Athletes for Alex…

November 10, 11,and 18, 2012, Moeller Lacrosse will be collecting used sports equipment from 10am – 4pm, at their Annual Lacrosse Turkey Shoot.

Clean out your garage and help Lacrosse raise funds for Cancer Free Kids Pediatric Cancer Research Alliance.  Alex Jackson lost his struggle with cancer in 2002, he was 6 years old.

David Sturgis and Brendan King (both Moeller Lacrosse Players) were his classmates, neighbors and friend.

Through “Athletes for Alex”  Moeller Lacrosse team is hoping to make a difference.  This is the 4th year Moeller Lacrosse has participated in this community service project, and they look forward to another successful collection.

Please bring your gently used sports equipment to the Gerry Faust Athletic Complex to the volunteers in the parking lot.
