Home » Cross Country NewsCoach Prenger Checks in on Alliance InvitationalSeptember 15, 2012 Cincinnati Moeller High SchoolFrom David Prenger, Head Coach Cross Country The Moeller Cross Country Team traveled to Clayton, Ohio on September 15th, 2012 to compete in the Alliance Invitational where they finished 11th (out of 21 teams). Nicholas Mendel was the team’s top finisher this week in 36th place in 17:11 (out of 194 runners). Finishing varsity as well were Mitch Poch, Brendan Mulvaney, Ethan ten Brink, Mitch Gentile, Ross Griffith, Connor Peed, Nick Schriml, Justin Gerbus, and Jacob Menke. The JV/Open had a split race with Jacob Weisgerber as the top finisher for the grades 9-11 race with a 33rd place finish in 19:01 (out of 210 runners). Also finishing in the top five for Moeller that race were David Poch, Nick Schlueter, Bryce Stricker, and Grant Godbey. In the other race for grades 10-12 it was Eddy Pappalardo as the top Moeller finisher in 14th place in 18:32 (out of 170 runners). Rounding out Moeller’s top five in that race were Ben Bruggemann, Josh Jones, Brian Foos, and Isaac Lytle.
