The Crusaders lost a hard fought match to St. X by two shots. LaSalle threw a surprise at everyone by winning the match with a fine 151. The Crusaders are in second place after 18 holes, trailing X by seven with 54 holes left to play. That is a slim margin with much golf to play. Mason Eckley had a strong round, carrying the team with a one under par 35. The Varsity golf teams had solid performances over the past weekend as they travelled to northwest and northeast Ohio. On Saturday, the Crusaders participated in the Van Buren Invitational and finished 6 out of 19 teams. The field included the top teams from the northwestern Ohio. On Sunday, The Crusaders battled the top teams in northeastern Ohio at Firestone C.C. The Crusaders finished 2 out of 18 teams.
