Base: Tigers claw Tri-West in conference action

Lebanon High School Lebanon rapped out nine hits and took advantage of 11 walks to throttle Tri-West 13-2 in five innings April 23. The Tigers plated five runs in the third inning and then added six more in the fourth to blow the game open. Brendan Shearer led the onslaught by going 3 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs. Mitchell Starkey went four innings to get the win on the mound. He surrendered six hits and struck out six on the day.
