Central Catholic faces several challenges in its quest to win a fifth straight state championship. The Knights lose 15 championship game starting spots to graduation, including leading rusher Brad Schrader, leading receiver Timmy Mills and leading tacklers Ross Corcoran and Sam Kochert.
Central Catholic will also play in the Class 2A state tournament for at least the next two seasons due to the IHSAA’s Tournament Success Factor. Among those returning are quarterback Ty Preston, cornerback/wingback Joe Smith and defensive ends Grant Vogt and Tyler Schrader.
