Lawrence Central broke from a scoreless tie at halftime to score two second half goals and defeat New Palestine August 27 by a count of 2-1. The victory levels the Bears record for the season at 2-2. The Lawrence Central goals were scored by Graham Gardner and Riley Gillstrap.
