Maggie Strobel defeated Chelsea West, 8-2; Daisy Gutierrez won against Melanie Thomas 8-5; Kendall Little beat Susy Carasco; Doubles team of Savannah Turner and Mariana Ozier beat Elizabeth Xiang and Jenny Luke, and Laurel Ozier and Shaquala Horton defeated Tamisha Ziglar and Sheree Smith 8-6. Our boys team improved to 5 and 1, & 1 and 0 in the region Andre Dalianas won 8-1 over, Tre Martin, Thomas Davis 8-1 over Cameron Wilson, Brett Baines won 8-0 over Shederio Norwood. Doubles Jacob and Joseph McClain won 8-0 over A. J. Patel and Aaron Jacobs; Ralph Horton and Billy Gibson beat Daniel Wilson and Gavin White 8-0.
Thursday LC Tennis braved the wind and cold and travelled to Thomaston to take on the AAAA Upson-Lee Knights. We did manage a 3-2 win on the boys side but were unable to muster a single win on the girls' side. Andre Dalianas won a tough match over Andrew Fletcher 9-7, Thomas Davis defeated Clay Lamb 9-8 in a tie-breaker 9-7; and to clinch the match Billy Gibson and Ralph Horton won over Damian King and Setul Patel 8-4.
