Rosemount vs Lakeville South

April 29, 2012
By Allen Iversen of Lakeville South Baseball

Hey Everyone:

Firday was a nice day and got better as the cold weather was moving in.. why you ask the South Siders got a victory. Joe Sabal was on the mound and kept the Irish off balance for 5 innings, Will Lundquist came in and closed the door. Defense was helpful Luke Sather playing Right field had to make a play that the wind kept pushing the ball away from him and he got the job done! Nick Pecho just making play after play at SS tells us way he is our everyday. Garrt Delich made some very nice catches as well from him center field spot again like Sather in right the wind was blowing.

As for the bats they where quite for 3 inning then Nick Pecho-James Haacks triple-Garret Delich-Tyler Schumacher - Luke Sather- Moose Jans- Will Lundquist. Plus the nice thing about the hitting they came at times when we needed them with guys in scoring position we came through. Timely Hitting!

Our game against Simley was called off before Saturday for Rain was in the for cast and I was glad we did so other wise we could have really made a mess of the field, let alone players safety . We are looking to reschedule this game for Friday May 4th again at Lakeville South with all three of Simleys teams at the same time Varsity JV and 9th grade at 4:15.

Monday we play Burnsville at Lakeville South at 4:15
