MATTOON--LAKER FIELD HOUSE--The Great Rivers Athletic Conference volleyball match between the Lake Land College Lady Lakers and the Kaskaskia College Blue Angels will air as a live-stream on DMTV Wednesday night, live from Laker Field House on the campus of Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois.
The Lady Lakers are currently locked in a two-way tie for first place in the GRAC with John A. Logan College, both teams with a conference record of 3-1.
Meanwhile, the Blue Angels are in a dogfight for third place with Southwestern Illinois College, each sporting 2-2 records and one full game out that two-way tie for first place.
The only other GRAC volleyball team, Rend Lake College, is 0-4 in conference play and has fallen off the pace.
The battles in the top tier, however, rage on, with SWIC playing RLC in Ina on Wednesday, hoping for a win in order to gain ground on the leaders.
On DMTV, the Lady Lakers, with an overall record of 15-4, take to the net versus the Blue Angels, who boast an overall record of 10-5. First serve is slated for 6:30 p.m. CST. The live-stream will be up and running about 5-15 minutes earlier.
A "Watch Live" link to the live-stream will be provided on the day of the match. Viewers will be able to access the live-stream from here on Lakerball or on DMTV.
The live-stream is a Free-per-View event, made possible by an anonymous broadcast sponsor, and viewers will be able to access the archive of the game for 1-4 weeks at no cost.
