Lady Lakers sweep 19th, streak to 35

BELLEVILLE--The Lady Lakers secured their 19th sweep of the season with a couple wins over the Lady Blue Storm of Southwestern Illinois College, 8-1 and 5-1, Tuesday in Belleville.

The Lady Lakers Great Rivers Athletic Conference record is yet untarnished at 28-0 with four games remaining.

Also, LLC's streak continues, now at 35 games.

Next up for Lake Land is a double header in Mt. Carmel versus Wabash Valley College on Thursday. Game times are 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. CST. Coverage: None.

The Lady Lakers wrap up their GRAC season on Saturday in Mattoon against Kaskaskia College.
