When in Rome, do as the Lakers do

ROME, GA--The Lakers rolled into Rome, Georgia, to take to a baseball field that looked nothing like the round Laker Fieldhouse they'd been used to working out in since early January.

Head coach, Tony Simmonds, enjoyed good offense and pitching in the first game, a 4-0 shutout of host Shorter College.

The Lakers completed the sweep by edging Shorter, 7-6, in the nightcap.

Lake Land travels to Newberry, South Carolina, Monday, for another double header, this time against Newberry College.
