Pacers Hire New Head Girls Basketball Coach

Lakeridge is excited to announce that Kevin Berry was named head Girls Basketball Coach on Thursday, pending School Board approval. Coach Berry was hired from a pool of high qualified and accomplished applicants. Berry who was the Boys Head Basketball Coach at La Salle High School in Milwaukie, Oregon for the last two seasons has 10 years of coaching experience. Berry, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Oregon State University, is Director of Digital Media for Comcast Sportsnet, a local 24-hour sports network.
Coach Berry has coaching stints at La Salle (twice), Jesuit, and Mt. Hood Community College, where he assisted for two seasons in the women’s program.
The Pacers will host a “Meet & Greet” on Monday, June 20th in the Jane Cohn Library at Lakeridge at 5 PM. Coach Berry and the Pacers invite all current, future, and past Pacers to come chat with Coach Berry.
Wanting to hit the ground running, Coach Berry would like to hold a practice for all retuning Pacers and all incoming Frosh from 6-8PM in the Lower Gym at Lakeridge.
