Pacers Top Jesuit 12-6

Lakeridge High SchoolLakeridge’s pair of NCAA Division I-bound players combined to score nine goals to lead the 10th-ranked Pacers to a 12-6 victory over Portland Jesuit in an Oregon Girls Lacrosse Association game Wednesday night.
UC Davis-bound senior middie Meghan Jordan had a game-high five goals, and St. Mary’s-bound senior attack Allie DeBruhl added a co-game-high five points on four goals and one assist, as Lakeridge improved to 2-0.
Sarah Seals added a pair of goals, and NCAA Division II Savannah College of Art & Design-bound senior Haley Fauvelle finished with a goal and assist for the unbeaten Pacers.
In a losing effort, Jacqueline Wagner scored two goals for Portland Jesuit, and Dana Kim added a goal and an assist.
“I think it’s very encouraging the way we played tonight, especially this early in the season,” Portland Jesuit head coach Traci Geist said. “Lakeridge is so talented all around that they’re really hard to shut down.”
