Jeff's Miller wins regional title on final dive

Lafayette Jefferson High SchoolIt took more than four hours, a change in venues and great execution on his final dive, but Lafayette Jeff’s Dustin Miller earned his first regional diving title.
The Broncho senior scored 62.40 points on his final dive, edging Hamilton Southeastern’s Cody Coldren 536.60-530.70 to win the IHSAA regional at Fishers High School.
The meet began at Hamilton Southeastern but was moved after a power outage at the Royals’ natatorium.
West Lafayette junior Logan Sotelo finished fifth with 400.15 points, earning a trip along with Miller to Saturday’s IHSAA state finals at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.
McCutcheon’s Cody Walker finished 14th.
LaPorte’s Joshua Arndt won the South Bend Riley Regional with 562.85 points.
