Lafayette Jeff Varsity Baseball Team Overtakes Noblesville

Bailey Perdue hit a go-ahead two-run single Tuesday night, and Griff Clark struck out five in a complete game effort to lead Lafayette Jeff to a 5-2 baseball victory over Noblesville at Loeb Stadium.

The Bronchos (8-7, 3-4 Hoosier Crossroads Conference) trailed 2-1 in the fourth inning when Keaton Hamilton and Clark opened the inning with singles. The duo moved up a base on Ethan Smith's sacrifice before Perdue singled to left field with two outs. Austin Albrecht followed with an RBI single to give Jeff a 4-2 lead.

Albrecht and Clark each had two hits.
