Gillespie and Harris advance to round of 16

Generals Nathan Gillespie and Taylor Harris advanced to the round of 16 at the KHSAA State Tennis Tournament today by picking up two wins.  In the first round, Gillespie and Harris defeated Lawrence County's Estep and Higgins by a score of 6-1, 6-1.  In the second round, Gillespie and Harris defeated Berea's Gadd and Lykins by a score of 6-1, 6-0.

The Generals duo, seeded 9-16 will face off with the tournament's #3 seeded team Kuo and Siami from Louisville's St. Xavier.  The match will take place at the University of Kentucky at 11:45 am.
