Gillespie and Harris capture 11th Region Crown

Lafayette's Nathan Gillespie and Taylor Harris have captured the 2012 11th region doubles championship with a 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 victory over Henry Clay's Halpin and Yurkoski.  The win is the first regional championship for Lafayette tennis in recent memory.  Gillespie and Harris will take an undefeated record in to next week's KHSAA State Tennis Championships.  State tournament play begins on Thursday May 17 at the University of Kentucky.
