Lexington Catholic Seeking State Baseball Championship

The Knights punched their ticket with a 10-run mercy of 10th region champion Harrison County late Friday night. It was Catholic\'s third mercy-rule win in its last four post-season games.

Owensboro is the Cinderella story of the tournament. Just three weeks ago, the Red Devils were 7-15 and coming off a 7-game losing streak in late April. But the third region champion caught fire at the right time and will take a seven-game winning streak into tonight\'s title game.
