KV Beats Valpo in Girls Basketball

Kankakee Valley High SchoolThe Lady Kougars opened their season Tuesday night by traveling to Valparaiso to take on the Vikings. The Kougars relied on great team defense and scoring from 8 different players. Lauren Stokes hit the game winning shot with 1.5 seconds to give the Kougars a 53-52 win. The Lady Kougars home opener will be this Saturday November 12 against Crown Point. .
