Home » Athletics NewsMeeting for Parents Interested in Athletics!March 28, 2011 Kankakee Valley High SchoolThe second meeting for parents interested in improving athletics at Kankakee Valley is scheduled for March 29th @ 6:30 in the High School Library. All interested parents should plan on attending! Guest speaker will be Grier Werner a retired football and baseball coach from Bloomington South High School! Coach Werner played baseball at Penn St. University, and was an Asst. Baseball Coach for Indiana University! Coach Werner has had 40 years coaching experience, and was a Varsity Asst. Football Coach for Bloomington South's State Champion football teams. Coach Werner was an Indiana All-Star Baseball Coach for the South! Grier was also the past president of the Indiana Baseball Coaches Association! Coach Werner was also the winner of numerous other athletic accolades! We hope that you can make it to the meeting so you can hear about how to build a championship athletic program!
