Rockley Signs With Indiana University Northwest

Senior cross country and track standout, Allison Rockley, tonight signed her letter of intent with Indiana University Northwest (IUN) to continue her athletic and academic career.  Surrounded by her parents, and present and future coaches, "Ally" put pen to paper to help lead this new program, which will begin cross country this fall.  She becomes IUN's first official high school recruit for cross country.  A stellar student, athlete and young lady, she is the kind of person any college would be proud to have, and IUN is a great fit for her as well.  Her accomplishments are remarkable: a FOUR time 1st Team All-NCC selection in cross country; an individual semi-state qualifier in 2013; Most Valuable Runner in 2013 and Captain; a leader of three sectional team champions, two NCC team champions and two teams that made the semi-state; All-Area Honorable Mention status, etc. to name a few from cross.  She is in the midst of the best track season of her stellar career, with huge personal records in the 1600 and 3200, and running very strong legs of the 4x800 relay as well.  She has been a distance mainstay for three straight sectional team titles, been All-NCC in the 3200 relay and achieved Regional Qualifications.  Beyond all these accomplishments on the course, track and in school, her legacy also will be as an outstanding young person, concerned about others, and always giving her best effort in all her endeavors. On behalf of the KV coaching staff, we say CONGRATULATIONS, Ally, we could not be any prouder of you!!
