Kankakee Valley High SchoolThe Kankakee Valley Girls basketball team had a nice win over the Lady Rebels of South Newton. Leading the way for the Kougars was Brandee Hudspeth with 24 points. Marissa Butler had 15 points and Tiffany Conley had 11 points. Bulter led the team with 8 rebounds, and Brandee Hudspeth led the team with 7 assists. KV plays an undefeated Hobart team Friday at 6:00. In the JV game it was KV 33- South Newton 17. Leading scorers Stacey Heerema and Shelby Hickman had 9 each.
