Soph. Michelle Kent continued her torrid pace, defeating several fine area runners to take home individual first-place honors in 21:39. Jrs. Kaylin Orsburn-5th, (in one of the top efforts of her fine career), Allison Rockley-7th, and Brittany Stepp-10th were solid as usual, running times of: 22:40.0, 22:59.0, and 23:33.0, respectively on the challenging, picturesque course. Classmate Joli Jungels, known more for her track and field prowess, had a heroic run, grabbing a gigantic 17th overall place in 26:13, and passing many runners in her final two miles to seal these important NCC wins. Rachel Krupa hustled in in 21st place in 26:52, with Kate Lott in 27th place. Tremendous TEAM effort, ladies, and best wishes at the Lowell Invite this Saturday.
