Kougar Rally Falls Short

Down 5 to 2 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, things looked bleak for the host Kougars.  KV loaded the bases with nobody out.  Then with one out, freshman Mia Stevens hit a shot off of the left field fence for a double, driving in 2.  The rally was, unfortunately, stopped with two ground-outs.  Final score Rochester 5-KV 4.  KV plays Rensselaer in the second game of the KV sectional on Tuesday, May 22nd at approximately 6:30 p.m..
