Kankakee Valley High SchoolJunior pitcher, Taurie Piatt, tossed six strong innings, giving up only 2 hits and striking out 8, picking up her sixth victory to remain undefeated for the season.
Sophomore first-baseman, Danielle Ruesken, was a force at the plate, going 3 for 3 with a double and 3 runs batted in.
Lauren Stokes was 2 for 4, with a double, and Alyssa Matson also went 2 for 4.
KV hosts Knox at 4:30 on Thursday.
