Kougars Cool Devils

     Kankakee Valley avenged an early season loss with a 4-0 victory over visiting Lowell on Monday.  Pitcher, Ashley Dobson, was sharp, allowing no hits through 6 innings, before losing the no-hit bid in the seventh.   A heads-up double play turned by second baseman Lindsey Fenstermaker stopped a bases loaded rally by the Devils in the seventh and preserved the shutout.  Junior, third baseman, Alyssa Matson, was 2 for 2 at the plate including a double and an R.B.I.  Maribeth Strong scored 2 runs. 

     The Kougars travel to Hobart on Wednesday.
