Bishop signs letter to play for Missouri Western

KIRKSVILLE — Kirksville senior pitcher Jackie Bishop is done rewriting the record books and dominating hitters at the high school and state level.
Now it’s time to see what she can do to MIAA hitters.
Bishop signed a National Letter of Intent Monday to play softball at Missouri Western State University. She said the decision was a long time in the making.
“[Picking a college] was the hardest decision I ever had to make in my life,” Bishop said. “There were a lot of things that entered into it.”
Missouri Western won out for the services of Bishop over Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne.
