Home » Boys' Soccer NewsShowing SportsmanshipMarch 6, 2011 By DeMarco King of Justin F Kimball High SchoolOn Friday night, the Boys Soccer team asked if they could play just like Carter. Carter only had 9 players to start the season off, but had two players to fail of the team. So Kimball's seniors, Jose Mata and Ricardo Ramirez asked if they could play with the same amount of players. I thought that was a great move by Kimball players. That showed me that sportmanship is still this generation. Even though, it took the boys 10 minutes into the game to score, Kimball went up 3-0 in the first half. Finished with a 8-0 score. The whole night was just special because I saw at team willing to play a game with few players and a team that was giving their hardest despite of the outcome. Kimball scorers were Ricardo Ramirez and Ramon Escoto-Mayoquin, and Roberto Rocha all had 2 a piece, Jose Mata and Juan Martinez had a score a piece. The boys are second in district. The boys are 9-3 (6-2) and will take on arch-rival, Adamson on Monday at 7pm at Sprague stadium.
