MISCA Relays - October 15, 2011

SAturday, the Bedford High School Girls Swim and Dive team was well represented at the MISCA Meet held at Eastern Michigan University by 6 of our qualifying team members.  This meet consisted of the best swimmers in the state of Michigan from Division 1, 2 and 3. 
 
Relay Final Results:
 
200 Medley Relay of Zoe Hopkins, Hanna Martin, Kelsey Stark and Alexandra Sutter finsihed 16th out of 70 schools with a time of 1:55.14.
 
200 Free Relay of Alexandra Sutter, Tara Vermandere, Maddison Maraugha, and Hanna Martin finished 27th  out of 65 schools with a time of 1:45.53.
 
400 Free Relay of Zoe Hopkins, Tara Vermandere, Maddison Maraugha, and Kelsey Stark finished 34th out of 64 schools with a time of 3:54.79.
 
Individual Final Results:
 
200 Free - Zoe Hopkins finished 11th out of 82 swimmers with her best swim of the season in this event and a state qualifying time of 1:58.87
 
200 IM - Hanna Martin 22nd out of 69 swimmwers with a time of 2:16.73
 
50 Free - Kelsey Stark 21st withher best swim of in this event and a time of 25.47. Alexandra Sutter tied for 40th with a time of 25.84 and Maddison Maraugha 73rd with a time of 26.47  all out of 95 swimmers
 
100 Fly - Hanna Martin 28th out of 72 swimmers with a time of 1:01.91
 
100 Free - Kelsey Stark 10th with her best swim of the season in this event and a state qualifying time of 55.03, Alexandra Sutter tied for 33rd with a time of 56.12, and Maddison Maraugha 77th with a time of 58.19 all out of 92 swimmers
 
500 Free - Tara Vermandere had her best swim of the season in this event and finished 40th out of 80 with a time of 5:29.00
 
100 Backstroke - Zoe Hopkins finsihed 56th out of 78 swimmers with a time of 1:05.27
 
100 Breaststroke - Tara Vermandere finished 70th out of 103 swimmers with her best swim of the season in this event and a time of 1:14.86
