Swim team results from a busy Thursday night

Tonight the Girls Swim and Dive Team traveled to Ann Arbor Pioneer for a double dual swim meet with Pioneer and Farmington Hills Mercy.  Mercy proved to be just too tough of a swim team for the girls.  Final team scores were Bedford 48 and Mercy 138.  There were several close races between Bedford and Pioneer this evening but Bedford was able to pull through with a win.  Final scores were Bedford 95 and Pioneer 91. 

Top Finishers for the evening included:

200 Medley Relay team of:  Zoe Hopkins, Hanna Martin, Kelsey Stark and Maddison Maraugha.

200 Free:  Alexandra Sutter

200 IM and 100 Breaststroke:  Hanna Martin

50 Free:  Kelsey Stark and Maddison Maraugha

100 Fly:  Kelsey Start

100 Free:  Alexandra Sutter and Maddison Maraugha

500 Free and 100 Back:  Zoe Hopkins.

200 Free Relay of:  Alexandra Sutter, NIkki Shake, Tara Vermandere, and Hanna Martin

400 Free Relay of: Kelsey Stark, Maddison Maraugha, Zoe Hopkins and Alexandra Sutter.

Those Swimmers with Personal Bests for the evening included:

Amanda Green:  47 sec drop in the 500 Free

Nikki Shake: 12 sec drop in the 500 Free.

Ashleah Funkhouser and Danielle Hedger in the 100 Backstroke.

Kaylee Box in the 200 IM

Shelby Carr in the 50 Free

Paige Madden in the 100 Butterfly
