Varsity ladies take second in SEC Jamboree

The girls' team raced well against the SEC Red Division Tuesday facing some difficult conditions and a difficult course.  Everyone ran tough looking to place well and not worrying about time.  The varsity finished 2nd behind Saline (Saline is ranked 1st in the State) the girls' best finish in a league jamboree in many years.  Kourtney Osentoski bedford's number 3 sat out to rest a turned ankle, and Emily Holmes made her debut of the season in the jv race, her time would have put her 5th for the team in the varsity section...Nice Job Emily!!!  Also with stand out performances were:  Kaitlyn Leist and Hailey Burns in the varsity race, and Emily Davis, Chelsea Bauders, and Hannah Wagner in the reserve race...Nice Job Ladies!!!
