Home » Cross Country NewsBedford boys XC does well against top ranked teamsSeptember 17, 2011 By Larry Mauter of Bedford SportsSeptember 16, 2011 The Bedford boys cross country team placed 16th out of 36 teams in the Nike Elite race at the MSU Spartan Invitational on Friday. The race featured the top-ranked teams from Divisions 1,2,and 3. All of the Bedford varsity runners posted season-best times. Leading the way for the Mules was Adam Horace in 16:38. James Nelson finished close behind in 16:46. Rounding out the scoring for Bedford were Ben Crane (16:57), Adam Blaida (17:03), and Jacob Nye (17:14).
