2014 Bedford Girls Soccer Banquet recap

The 2014 Bedford Girls Soccer season came to an end on June 3rd with the annual year-end banquet.
 
Varsity Head Coach Aaron Wolfe commented that all 17 varsity players were Scholar-Athletes who maintain a cumulative GPA over a 3.0, and the combined GPA was 3.67 for the team.
 
Senior defender Hannah Duschl was the lone Kicking Mule to receive First Team All-SEC accolades.
 
Seniors Mia Stroud and Abbey Oswald were each named to the SEC Honorable Mention team.
 
Senior Ali Baker received the SEC Sportsmanship Award, while all seven seniors were recognized as SEC Scholar Athletes for having a 3.25 cumulative GPA.
 
Duschl was also named to the All-District Tournament team, with Stroud and Baker both being selected to the All-District Tournament Honorable Mention team.
 
The Bob Andrews Boosters Outstanding Athlete Award went to senior Maddie Hanson.
 
Varisty letters were awarded to:
 
Seniors -- Ali Baker, Hannah Duschl, Maddie Hanson, Jessica Kreger, Abbey Oswald, Jordyn Spotts, Mia Stroud
 
Juniors -- Taya Bailey, Chelsea Bauders, Marley Brereton, Erin Jacobs, Cara Stang, Maddie Weiss
 
Sophomores -- Grace Brown, Elise Covrett, Lia Manera, Kortney Sheeder

Junior Varsity head coach Hannah Sinkovitz handed out six individual awards for the J.V. Program.
 
Freshman defender Rachel Gamble was selected as the squad's defensive MVP.
 
Freshman forward Ashley Manore received the team's offensive MVP award.
 
Sophomore goalkeeper Rachel Schott earned both the team's MVP award along with the Unsung Hero Award.
 
The Outstanding Team Player Award went to freshman Allison Seiler.
 
Freshman Adrienne Morrin was named the squad's Most Improved Player.
 
Sophomore Bailey Mata was the recipient of the team's Outstanding Leader Award.
 
Receiving J.V. Awards were:
