Lady Mules soccer 2-0 against Allen Park

The Bedford varsity girls soccer team improved to 2-1-0 on the young season with a 1-0 victory at Allen Park Tuesday night for its first shutout of the season.
 
Marley Brereton and Grace Brown combined for the whitewash, while Cara Stang netted the lone goal of the match of an assist from Mia Stroud just 5:20 into the match.
 
The Kicking Mules held a decisive 17-5 edge in total shots attempted.
 
Bedford will travel to Dearborn Heights Crestwood on Thursday (the game was originally scheduled for Wednesday, but was pushed back one day).

The Bedford Junior Varisty squad remained unbeaten at 2-0-1 following a 7-0 triumph at Allen Park on Tuesday.
 
Ashley Manore along with two goals from Kortney Sheeder in the first 10 minutes of the contest propelled the Kicking Mules to the victory.
 
Amanda Renshaw also scored before intermission for a 4-0 halftime advantage.
 
Manore, Morgan Dietrich and Rachel Gamble all scored in the second half as Bedford outshot the host Jaguars 24-0.
 
Rachel Schott and Rebekka Daniel combined for the shutout.
 
Bedford's JV plays at Dearborn Heights Crestwood on Thursday.
