February 17, 2014

The individual district championships were held on Saturday, February 8th at Saline High School. The Mules had 5 wrestlers who made it out of districts and will be advancing to the regional championship this coming Saturday, February 15th:
Tyler Rogaliner took 3rd at 112lbs
Brad Stewart took 4th at 125lbs
Blake Montrie took 1st at 152lbs

The season has come to a close for the team, but four individual Mules remain alive as they prepare for the MHSAA state championship tournament February 27th through March 1st at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

The Mules made it through tough competition at districts and then regionals this past weekend in order to sign their ticket to The Palace!

Our advancing regional placers include:

Blake Montrie was Regional Champion at 152lbs
Brad Stewart took 2nd place at 125lbs
Ben Beallas took 2nd place at 125lbs
Adam Ortman took 3rd place at 285lbs.
