2009 SMISL Championships
We have completed our regular season with another Victory. Today the Bedford Varsity Swim and Dive team won the 2009 SMISL Championships. The meet was held in Milan. Senior Kirstin Stark was voted Swimmer of the Meet for the second year in a row.

The final score was Bedford-681, Milan -517, Tecumseh 515 and Adrian 343.

Meet results-

200 Medley Relay- State team of Hopkins, M. Maraugha, K. Jones, and Kelsey Stark lowered their State time and finished first with a 1:57.83.

B team of Sarah Jones, Liz Dickey, Jessica Sutter and Al Sutter finished 5th

B- Relay of Al Sutter, Vermandere, Biggs, and M. Maraugha- made their own state qualification time while finishing 4th at this meet. Unfortunately only one relay is allowed to be entered. 3:51.75

Overall it was a good meet and we had some fun races and many best times. It was fun to think of how much some of these girls have improved over the season.
