Home » Hockey NewsBedford shuts out Monroe in SEC actionFebruary 6, 2013 Bedford SportsTue. Feb. 5 – at Monroe Seven different Bedford players scored as the Mules coasted to an 8-0 victory over Monroe in a game shortened by the mercy rule. The end came at 3:27 into the third period.
Goals were scored by Jonathan Rokicki, Weston Swick, Josh Hoogendoorn, Devin Keener, Drew Goupille, Darryl Kuchcinski, and a pair by Noah Szenderski. Jim Schulty picked up three assists, while Connor Glick had two. Seven other players chipped in one assist apiece.
The Mules scored twice in the first period, and built a 6-0 lead by the end of the second period. Szenderski put Bedford into mercy position with a goal at 1:00 of the third period, and Kuchcinski’s goal sealed the win. Bedford finished its SEC schedule at 3-5.
