Friends and Family,

It's been a few weeks since our last newsletter... quick update on what's been going on with the Team...

Plans are well underway for 2013 Racing Season. Jeff Jr. will compete in the ARCA Sportsman Series at Toledo Speedway in 2013 and has already been hard at work on the car, getting it ready for winter. The engine's been pulled and is ready for yearly maintenance/rebuild. The engine will return to the same builder, TICO, that gave the Scott Bross motor good power over the past year. We're looking forward to the trip next weekend to drop the motor off... I know Scott is excited to see that we're returning to TICO...

Meanwhile, Team assignments for next year are being confirmed. Dave Miller will stay on-board as race-day tuner, crew chief and spotter. We're hoping to see more of Scott Bross in 2013 as his time permits - he's got a Late Model under construction in his shop that is starting to take shape. Many people don't know it, but if it weren't for Scott, Jeff would not have raced in 2012 - Scott owns most of the equipment including the safety equipment Jeff Jr. wore to race. We really hope to have Jeff in his own clothes next year and are looking forward to see Scott racing in his Late Model.

The biggest news is that Jeff has been helping/partnering with a front-running team ARCA Sportsman Team that has extensive racing experience, Glass City Motorsports - Mike and Paul Young. Mike, 23 yrs. old with 7 years of stock car experience, will serve as a driver mentor for Jeff Jr. Paul, with 25 years of racing experience himself, will assist in chassis and car preparation. Mike is actively racing in the ARCA Sportsman series and is an awesome young talent having finished in the top 5 in the ARCA Sportsman class for the past 2 years. Mike competed regularly in the ARCA Truck Series and has a few starts in the ARCA Touring Series. At 23, he's got a great future ahead. Jeff Jr. spent a lot of time this summer working in the Young's race shop to help out. I know I'm excited that Jr. has another good role model racing in the same series at Toledo Speedway....  We've been really fortunate to have so many good people around Jeff as he continues to learn. Look to see more news/announcements/results from Mike Young creep into our reports.

Meanwhile, we're actively working on sponsorship for 2013. We've got an awesome core group of local associate sponsors, all from Bedford Twp., that we hope will serve as a foundation for future years. I've talked to many of you who receive this newsletter. We'll be talking to many more in the upcoming months as we put our program together for 2013. We're also looking for that corporate support, a primary sponsor that can keep Jeff Jr in the sport well into his college years. Look for some early announcements in the upcoming weeks. New sponsor leads? Do you know people who'd like to get involved in racing? Do you just want to help out in the garage or in the pits? Please let drop me a note!

The Toledo Speedway / Flat Rock Speedway banquet is less than 1 week away! Jeff Jr. is the favorite to receive the 2012 ARCA Sportsman Rookie of the Year award. Jeff was top rookie in the season points standings - 9th - and raced in the top 10 all season long despite starting last due to his young age....The team is looking forward to a fun evening out with all of the local racers. It also gives everyone a chance to talk about racing away from the track.  Looking back - 2012 was what I'd call a learning year....  Jeff learned to drive a full size car on the 1/2 mile oval.... The team learned what to do and what NOT to do.....   2013 will be interesting!

If you haven't seen it yet on FB, check this out! It's not every day you see your son in die-cast! Want one? Drop me a note - will make a great Christmas present...

Last, anyone need a good used trailer?? In case you didn't know, our Interstate 1 kart trailer is up for sale! Good condition, priced to sell, $2500....  Also - am considering selling our Class 'C' Camper in case someone is in the market. Didn't use it last year - just may be time to sell it!

SAVE THE DATE - Daytona 500 Sponsor Appreciation Party in February, 2013!

Well - time to hit send... Thanks to all of our friends, family and sponsors for your support!
