7th grade softball earns split with Saline

Game 1: Bedford 1   Saline 9  (LOST)

Our offense struggled against Saline's pitcher in the first game.

Meegan Smith got a double and scored our only run.

Molly Vogel & Samantha Synowka both pitched a nice game against Saline, both getting 3 strikeouts.

Game 2: Bedford 7  Saline 6  (WON!)

Taylor Haberland went 2 for 2, with 2 stolen bases. Taylor also had a great catch in centerfield.

Erika Wilt went 1 for 2, with 1 run & 2 stolen bases.

Molly Vogel went 1 for 2, with 1 run & 1 stolen base.

Laura Shake, Samantha Synowka, & Caylie Clements contributed 1 run.

Claire Morgan went 1 for 2 with a double, and 1 run.

Jaycie Harris started game 2. She had 4 strikeouts & allowed only 2 hits in 3 innings.

Macy Maraugha finished the game and made all 3 outs, striking out 2.

So proud of these girls on their second win of the season! Record: 2-11
