Home » Girls' Basketball NewsLady Mules win basketball district crownMarch 4, 2012 Bedford SportsDistrict Final Bedford vs Saline at Saline Final Score: After defeating Ypsilanti, Bedford-42 (15-6), Ypsilanti-32 (9-12), on Wednesday the Lady Mules came back and won the District crown against Saline 38-26. Bedford's balanced scoring and stingy defense allowed Bedford to advance to the Regionals. The Mules were led in scoring by Lindsey Sheperd and Taylor Foster with 9 points and Ellen Hays and Cheyenne McCartney added 8 points each. Bedford moves onto the Regional at Lincoln starting Tuesday March 6. Bedford will play Inkster with Dearborn Edsel Ford playing Browwnstone-Woodhaven in the other semi final. Times TBD
