Coming of win at home against Army, the Louisville Cardinals face the Wake Forrest Demon Deacons at home Tuesday night. The Cards seemed to have it in the baggoing up 2-0 in the first half. But in the second half the Demon Deacons decided to give the Cars a taste of theirown medicine scoring 2 straight goals to tie thegame up. Both teams failed to score by the end of regulation and the first over timeperiod. With just 4 minutes left in the second overtime, it looked as though the Cards were about chalk one up in the tie column, until the ball entered the penalty box as Freshman Marlon Hairston broke away from his defender. As the rest of the defense charges at Hairston he passed it off to Senior Ryan Smith who had the easy look atthe goal.
Louisville is now 3-2 in regular season play and is undefeated at home. They take on rival Kentucky this Friday at 7pm
