You may ask what this is considering he is a college student. Well, the National Football Foundation honors 26 guys from different regions who were successful on and off the field during their senior years. The committee will then chose five guys on October 8th, with Towles, a product of Highlands High School being a option to join the winners who will head to New York City on December 4th to receive their awards during the NFF Chapter Awards Luncheon. Towles would not be the first Wildcat to receive this award as Jeremy Caudill won back in 2000. Caudill was a defensive tackle who played for Prestonburg High School in Kentucky.
