Breaking news coming out on the Twitter world, former Xavier student-athlete Dez Wells IS in Lexington, visiting Kentucky and John Calipari according to Jason Jordan of ESPN(@JayJayESPN). He tweeted out the following in reference to Wells and his upcoming schedule:

This is just a few days after Wells was officially released from the University after a scandal was dropped of any charges coming forward. He was also involved in the Cincinnati brawl last season when he did swing on a opposing player during the scuffle. As a basketball player, he is very talented, and one that would fit well inside of a dribble drive type offense and will not doubt help out whatever school he lands at.

Also worth noting is that Evan Daniels of Scout.com has said the Louisville Cardinals have backed off of Wells due to scholarship issues. We will keep you updated on further news.
